Large grey-green, violet, and near-black shapes remain visible beneath smaller marks in turquoise, pale blue, yellow, red, and white. Clusters vary in size and spacing, but none separates from the surrounding field.
Artist's note
Baylis has described the clustered marks as a reflection of energy across scales, from the microscopic to the universe, with each cluster also contributing to the whole.
